Wolves v Sheffield 7th June 2021

Recommended Posts

With captain Rory Schlein out injured (Glasgow Friday night) I presume Wolves will be using R/R. This should be a bonus for Sheffield. With due respect Tom Bacon isn't contributing too much at the moment. That means the remaining 5 riders all have to be on form for Wolves to get the league points. At least Rory is 2nd in the averages so all of the top 5 can take a ride. Hopefully still a Wolves win, if only a narrow one.

For Sheffield which Batchelor will it be ?

He does like a tumble,,, he seems to spend more time off his bike than on it

In days gone by Batchelor and Holder wouldn't have been considered a particular threat at Monmore Green. However in a watered down league they don't have Lindgren, Thorsell, Karlsson et al to face. Added to that Holder has improved somewhat. Wolves need all of their team on form to cover for Schlein.

Wolves win this by at least a dozen points you have no reason to be worried!!

Doesn’t look like Howarth will be riding tonight as he has gone to hospital to get X Rays on his wrist after a crash at Leicester yesterday. He completed the meeting and picked up a couple of wins but it has swollen up overnight
