Cracking result against a really strong side at home. Really pleased for young joe chipping in with a win. Kye continuing to impress scoring well on tracks he’s never seen in his life.

great 3 points.

Chapeau Edinburgh. Great team.

We almost got out of jail, with Kyle Newman leading the excellent Masters & Pickering in ht 15, only to be denied by a chain.

4 Eagles & a guest giving it all.

Kennett was appalling tonight, with his experience at Arlington, no matter how the track was prepared, and it was over watered, he should have able to stay on the bike, 3+1 just isn't good enough. Not a lot we can do really, but  won't make the top 6 if we have to keep carrying him. He will obviously drop from No1 shortly, but unless his form does improve whatever position he ends up in will be weaker than now. On a better note, Kyle now looks better than ever, and was so unlucky with the engine failure, and Richard Lawson had some great rides, but at the end of the day we never led it, and Edinburgh did a solid job throughout the meeting and overall deserved the victory.

Trying to understand this 10 day isolation as Anders Rowe, who appeared with Drew and Dan Gilkes, rode last night for Redcar at Glasgow - anyone help here please - :(

Anders Rowe had a Scotch egg for his dinner so is ok to ride.

There is a simple way to avoid track & trace.

Don't download the App.

Aye just don't bother that it's one of the measures to assist in reducing the spread of Covid.

Still so long as it ensures you can keep riding, and so what if you have been infected and then pass the virus on to some other poor sod

Sounds like EB fans were treated to a close (score line) meeting. “Plenty of heats from the gate and well spread out” appeared on the excellent “ speedway updates” website ......When the  opposition are gating not good at Arlo.

Loss of Kemp proving the straw that broke the camels back, with gust Alf Bowtell failing to land a blow on any of the Monarchs.

You have to wonder about Ed Kennett. Seems unable to ride ( and not fall off ) a track he rode from age 8 ( maybe younger) Not sure his Grasstrack exploits are helping his speedway career ?

Still, don’t see too many other sides coming close at Arlo this season so a P. off place is virtually guaranteed.

The armchair experts will keep on hating, but none other than Sam Masters has tweeted that Arlington is a cool little track with a good atmosphere.

I was there hated the result as always if we lose (especially as I've not seen so many over the years), believe it or not I still feel aggrieved for the night we lost to Wolves in the first ever playoff in 2002!! That's what being a true fan is, for Eastie or any other team, and can't believe the rollercoaster of emotions in a few seconds last night in heat 15. This is why we go and anyone who doesn't it's easy to hate a club or meeting. The contest was fought out in a great spirit and the home crowd applauded Sam Masters as he came round after heat 15 hence his comments, wrong result for an Eastie fan but we'll move on, if we get our act together, may meet them in the playoffs or ko cup with a different outcome, that's speedway.
