Leicester vs Redcar 19/06/21

Recommended Posts

Good meeting, good crowd and all done in 100 minutes with both teams using RR with a fair few 2 on the trots.

Dan Thompson is on fire round BP at moment.

I thought the Lions were going to be in trouble after the first few races and was very impressed with Anders Rowe who looked like he was going to go through the card after his first race but then the Bears seemed to drop off as the Lions raised their game from the gate and it was pretty comfortable by mid match.

Why was there no victory parade after the match?

There was no victory parade last night as Leicester riders were keen to get home to prepare for Newcastle today and also rain was forecast from 9pm

Sarjeant was very poor again last night. All this talk of him being on a "false" low average is tosh. He is a journey-man on a low average for a reason.

Quite poor excuses if true, no reason to doubt it.. Would have taken 2 minutes to come round on bikes and wave to the crowd

He's not been the same rider since he stopped jumping the start

James has had a good start to the year don't judge him on one meeting. He is riding well above his average so for this season.
