LagutaRacingFan 1,935 Posted June 21, 2021 Witches get very lucky with a Harris engine failure. Otherwise, they'd be going home with nothing.

The H Man 252 Posted June 21, 2021 Well done to Panthers, very pleased for Big Ulle riding with a nasty arm injury sustained at Scunny yesterday - man of steel that lad!
chrismorton 332 Posted June 21, 2021 (edited) Well that was tense..seemed to have everything against us but just pipped them in the end ..they deserved a point though. What I like about this team is its solid and someone has a bad night someone else covers...tonight it was Bjarne, Ully and Scott who pulled us through..well done lads! This Panthers team reminds me of Gorzow's side in 2010 that had Gollob, Zagar, Iversen, Kasprazak and Zmarzlik (at reserve). Heat winners in every position. @racers and royals

A close very competitive match which was very enjoyable on what was a cool night. Quite a good crowd and Panthers now top of the league, happy days.

chrismorton 332 Posted June 22, 2021 Interesting to read that Ulrich had a nasty arm injury...and still rode like a warrior..
Flappy 1,605 Posted June 22, 2021 His first few rides he didn't look right at all and got beat by Rowe in heat 2.

Ulrich was carrying an arm injury so clearly didn’t want to go in heat 15 as he doesn’t normally turn down rides. I spoke to him before and after the meeting and he stated it was painful, so fair play to him. Again excellent team managing by Rob Lyon, really impressed with his style of doing things and a lot of what he does isn’t seen by most of the supporters.

Us Stars fans told ya, Rob Lyon is the best Speedway manager in the UK by an absolute mile. Should still be GB Manager too
