Speedway GP’s - Late Start

Moto GP has one more GP then they have a summer break, must have done at least 8 GP already.  F1 same as, probably 8 GP’s already.     Why has Speedway GP’s not even started yet?????        Anyone know the reason?

Yes quite simple if you think about it. F1 and Moto GP are awash with money and can afford to run the events without spectators or limited fans and have a full programme to fit in, whereas Speedway GP is not awash with money nor are the tracks putting the GP`s on and therefore need 100% crowd level to be able to stage them. Plus with double events over a weekend 11 GP`s can be fitted in in a few months if necessary.

What a weird question to ask ... Surely a bit of thought could have worked this out without disturbing the grey matter too much.

I can remember watching great GP racing last year but can’t remember seeing full crowded stadium. In fact some early ones it was very sparse crowd.

Second day in Toruń was nearly fully crowded.
