How can Poole use R/R for a rider that has never rode in this country? Cheating at its best.

Most be within the rules or wouldn't of been sanctioned, so not cheating

Within the rules but moral cheats, get rid of a poor rider, replace with R/R, guaranteed points return = cheats.

You should change your name to Thickrat!

Are you suggesting that Poole somehow have some control over the Czech government and bribed them to change the countries COVID laws the day after the rider signed for Poole just so that they could use R/R?  What a complete and utter :icon_smile_clown:

It’s not within the rules.  But Poole have been given special dispensation for 7 days.
It’s wrong on two levels. Poole chose to sack Keheler so they should have had his replacement ready to step straight in. They didn’t because they had to act quickly to keep cook at reserve so in my opinion the promotion caused the problem so should adhere to the rules.

Comparing this to Leicester's changes is similar, Government, Brexit, paperwork/visa issues. The difference being Leicester signed Andersen then realised there was an issue with Kennedy. They could then have used a NDL rider not declared in a P or CL side but decided to re-declare with another rider knowing it was short term. Poole, however, were given short term dispensation so could only use the r/r facility available.

The problem Poole have is in three of their four away matches so far, heat 15 has been a big fat 5-1 to the home team!! The best they have done is a 3-3 at Glasgow when the match was already  well and truly won by the home team.

Which given how strong Pooles top end is, is a bit of a concern.

Definitely a big concern as it has cost the Pirates 2 possible away wins so far.

Just a thought, maybe the heat 15 in away meetings is as much a financial decision rather than  who rode better on the night?;)

Not at all - just saying it might be a consideration if the club has lost money and a 'cheaper rider' in heat 15 might ease the financial pain a little. Its not as if Poole didn't take points from both the Eastie and Gladiators away meetings!;)
