Hans is riding in Poland in an already scheduled fixture before he signed for Leicester so they are entitled to a guest & they come no better then Scott Nicholls.

It will be a strange one for Jake Knight riding for Leicester in the Championship & then swapping to the other side of the pits to race against Leicester in NDL.

Why does Drew Kemp miss Sunday’s meeting ?

weather looks good hopefully the action on the track can match.

Jake Knight ?   Nothing on the Leicester Web.  If so who does he replace? But i cannot imagine it.

He is in Leicester's named 7 per the green sheets (until Monday anyway)

Mystery deepens.

So if Jake was an NDL reserve last week on a notional 2 point average (according to green sheets) but no longer declared in a CL team as from tomorrow (when Kennedy replaces him) and not ridden enough matches for an average, why can't Eastbourne use him as an NDL reserve tomorrow?

I don’t know the answer but Jake rode at 2 and not at reserve, if that makes any difference.

Leicester's new 1-7 is effective from tomorrow (18th July)

Ive nothing against youth and ablitt has promise but if jake knights available surely he is a better option in a match where every point is vital, or is he not allowed under a ruling?

From Eastbourne website:

Drew Kemp is unavailable for the Eagles because he is riding for his Polish club, Gdańsk.

His place will be taken by Nathan Ablitt. In these circumstances, Championship clubs can only use a 3-point NDL level reserve.

Nevermind the GP, I'm going to Eastbourne . If they are rerunning the GP tomorrow, where is Scott going to be?

But hang on. If the GP is rerunning, does that mean the Polish meetings are cancelled/postponed? That would mean Hans can be in East Sussex.

Hans meeting is still going ahead in Latvia (Polish 1st Division)

This team line ups for this fixture are beginning to resemble a pantomime.   Only in speedway. (Well at least in Cricket they changed the entire team in advance of the match !)

Scott Nicholls  ? Is he riding for BT sport or Leicester tomorrow?

Nathan Ablitt .... one of "Eastbourne's own"  is he riding for his club ? Sings4Speedway suggests he isn't ??

Drew Kemp - is he still riding in Poland tomorrow  ? or is the Gdansk  meeting cancelled due to the GP reschedule?

As for Jake Knight .... you couldn't make it up ..... Never have I seen such a set of complicated rules to prevent an English  junior reserve rider being denied a ride. Surely in the "interests of speedway" he should be allowed to ride for someone tomorrow ?

I guess if there was any kind of logic, Jake Knight would be riding for Gdansk.

Until he got half way there of course, when the meeting would be formally postponed.
