Made me laugh when called Swindon and Poole “the big two”

Although both now defunct Premiership clubs, Poole have in recent years been good enough to warrant a “big “ rating. Swindon ? 2019 p/off champions I think ? Hardly a “big” club.

Never been the same without the big 2 Wimbledon and Wembley.

Elite Champions in 2012 and 2017 also if I remember, so pretty big over the last 9 years all things considered.

As Windon have won 66% of all Premiership titles, 2017 and 2019, as big as anyone. Over last 10 years Poole are the most successful then Robins. Swindon have been Poole's bogey team in recent years. Obviously can't compare to Belle Vue, Cradley, Wembley, Wimbledon, Oxford, Ipswich, Reading etc., at their peak, when speedway was big, last century.
