Very sad news, indeed,, with sincere condolences going to family & friends who knew him but I am not one who got the pleasure of his company but realise the enormous impact he had on the speedway community through fans, riders, mechanics & all involved in speedway through the Speedway Star.

Such sad news. Was concerned at his recent absence from this forum.
A big loss to the speedway family, and of course to his own family.

RIP Philip.

Absolutely devastated to hear this. First met Phil back in 2012 and he was an absolute Gent. Not only tremendously helpful and generous whenever I would travel over to watch GP's but always a great laugh too. He may have been almost 30y years my senior but he was as good a company in the pub as anyone you could ever wish to meet.

We've lost a passionate supporter of our sport, a wonderful writer, superb story teller, but most importantly a lovely, lovely man. I'll miss our chats, I'll miss his stories. I'll miss my buddy.

Sleep easy my friend, I'm glad you’re not hurting anymore.

Very sad - a Speedway man through and through and was regular contributor to this forum.

My condolences to his family.

Big shame, enjoyed reading his stuff, a huge supporter of speedway and a rock behind Speedway Star.  RIP Phillip....

Very sad news - a true gent.

Sad news indeed. I was wondering about Phil's absence on this forum in the recent weeks/month. Now I know why. My deepest words of sympathy from Poland to his family.
