It's hardly been a showcase for the sport, has it?

Well I for one am very surprised by the lack of consistent coverage by Eurosport and the haphazard scheduling..

Really not sure why Eurosport have chosen not to broadcast a meeting tonight with so much choice of meetings, No Live sport on their channels tonight or live PL to go up against seems very strange decision to me.

So we have the British final next week and then week after 23/08 they have choice of BV vs KL or Peterborough vs Wolves (But did televise A fixture)

Was interested to see an ad on Sky Sports yesterday promoting The 100, as usual,  but they were specially promoting the app, a bit gimmicky, as with most things Sky, but this is the kind of thing that Speedway should be looking to produce with its "broadcast partner"

Whatever "deal" BSPL have done with Eurosport, they have been sold a pup.

Not looking good for next season , when they have the UK  rights to the SGP.

They don’t have UK rights for SGP yet no guarantee they will.

Perhaps even Eurosport are bored with filming the same six teams with riders who are at best second rate.

As Baldyman said, lucky anyone is broadcasting this joke of a sport.

Why didn’t you the BSPL try to negotiate  a deal that covered the three leagues not just the so called top tier so at least a bit of variation albeit you are then left with trying to explain to the average viewer the double up/down and the same riders competing for different teams in different leagues. Yep only speedway could be lead by a bunch of inept negotiators who still believe that the U.K. side of the sport is not in need of major surgery and still don’t ask themselves why so many stadia are virtually empty on race night.

Does anyone know what the average viewing figures have been for Speedway on Eurosport so far? Perhaps it's not worth their while to do a full live broadcast?

Panthers vs Wolves on Eurosport did 45,000 viewers.

Ipswich the following week did 20,000 viewers.
