Yeah and yet more cost to clubs, some of which can hardly run due to financial difficulties to begin with.

You've got a real "Can do" attitude haven't you

But deserved on this occasion.  Two teams (Eastboune Champ and NDL) have gone to the wall today, yet you want teams to splash out £thousands on a clock in the middle of the track?  Just to save on riders digging/gardening at the start (which is always going to happen, by the way)?

Only a Speedway promoter would spend thousands of pounds on a bloody clock! Where do you live, Monaco!

Probably about 15/20 on Ebay.

You can send it back on Amazon though when your club goes bust...

Zero cost option - could the referee tells the team mangers and riders that it is expected that the riders come to the tapes when instructed by the start marshall, not to wilfully look the other way or piddle about with clutch settings and adjusting goggles, failure to do so will result in sanctions / penalties, exclusion or 15m handicap for example?

Make your mind up !!!

Just to clarify for anyone confused.  A stadium can be nice AND scruffy, hence my comment about potential.  I suspect you weren't really confused though and just like to be contrary!

GP and Polish rules. 2 minutes to get to the gate and garden. Tapes up at the end of 2 minutes.

Clocks aren't expensive, you'd be looking around £200 for one durable and big enough
