Drift on Ice - Denmark 02.04.2022

Recommended Posts

Put it in your calendar. Looks almost certain to take place seeing as Denmark will stop all Covid measures in September, and seemingly unless some disaster happens won't bring them back

At the Iscenter Nord, Frederickshavn. Right up near Skagen

A while back it was announced around 50% of the tickets sold

No news on riders, apart from some juniors being announced.

Who wants to see such a meeting in April? Perhaps around Christmas/New Year this gimmick could draw a crowd, but in April ?

It's still during the Danish close season and a full 6 months since 2021 season in Denmark ended. It may not be the most exciting of events, but the timing isn't that irrational.

Think they have to host this at the end of the ice season, just like i think the ice speedway at Inzell and possibly Berlin have to take what is left after the skating season. Inzell i think is used as a training centre for the speed skaters
