Cannot agree. He's long been a track specialist at Monmore. Yet when we needed him to perform as 'normal' in the 2017 play off final he was pathetic.Lost us the title, never forgive him.

Actually, I'd forgotten that. Maybe my subconscious has chosen to obliterate the pain!

Lots of moaners on here tonight again about the track, the racing and everything else you can have a moan about but I think it was a decent meeting which kept my interest from start to finish. Far better than any GP I've seen recently which to be honest are really starting to bore the pants off me.

British Speedway is not as bad as what a lot of people on this forum make it out to be ... just give it a chance and stop moaning so much.

Your moaning about other people moaning so STOP moaning!

Ermmmm, think I'm moaning as well now! Bugga!

I know it's after the horse has bolted, but one wonders  what could have happened with this Wolves side if Adams had used that extra 2 points which were available to them at the start of the season. Think he was determined to get in Nicol to please Becker, but in truth he has been the biggest let down, and certainly needs to up his game in the play-offs,if the Monmore men are to succeed in taking the trophy.

Sure. But then you're breaking the strong Morris/Douglas partnership so on the one hand, on the other hand etc! But, yes, that's the easy fix.

Not like they've been riding together recently, Douglas has been at reserve.

Nicol's average Seems to fluctuate between 5.5 and 6 this season so hardly a 'let down' for his relative inexperience....I do however admit to thinking he may have kicked on a little more as the season went on but surely overall Wolves fans should be generally pleased with the season as a whole?. I think you are a more potent 1-7 away than at home where only Masters Becker Schlein (until a month or so ago) have looked at ease?

The question has to be who would you have signed instead? And is the comment about keeping Becker happy knowledge or hearsay?

Neither Bagpuss, just my personal opinion (and a few other Wolves supporters at the time about the American connection). As to who the rider might have been.Well it's common knowledge that either Nicholls or Harris would have a season at Monmore due to their liking of the track, but in truth no one knows if they would have been an upgrade on Nicol.

Forum rules prevent me from agreeing with this post in the appropriate manner.

All of the Panthers did a job.  Pedersen had an off night, he doesn't seem to like Monmore given his two scores there this season but will be required in the play offs if the two sides meet again.

I don't think it's cut and dry that Panthers win the league however, away at Sheffield and their top 5 is powerful.

Nicholls hasnt ridden that well in both fixtures at Monmore this year think most Panthers fans would of expected him to be scoring better than he has done and be the trump card  he did well in his temporary stint at Wolves but other than the one gate that won him his race against Masters he was quite poor compared to MPT for example  ,Harris is Harris now was poor against BV away when expected to score well but excellent last night its on the night sometimes with any rider,

Heat 13 rerun was uncomfortable initially as Harris and Andersen were on the wrong parts of the track inside and out as soon as they swapped over it was a relief as could see a coming together otherwise .

MPT has quitely gone about his business very well this season hes getting closer to Ostergaard's average which thankfully wont cause an issue if he goes above him before the Play offs in terms of RR choices only in the fact he will ride at number one which hes not done much of at all.

Pedersen likely to be reserve soon which will nullify the reserve advantage but hope he can up his scoring as Andersen or Harris did when having there stints at reserve.

Need at least a point at Sheffield thursday then hopefully win the last 2 home matches, will be interesting the thoughts of everyone if they need 3pts to go top in last home match thats against Kings Lynn  , the conspiracy theory's and all !!!

Bomber certainly made a difference to us Pirates in our hour of need in 2018 play off semi & final. The move he pulled on Doyle at Wimborne Road to get us straight to the final was absolutey off the charts!

Bomber played an integral part in us becoming 2018 PREMIERSHIP CHAMPIONS!
