No idea what was said as in Polish but in the middle was mentioned "Ipswich Witches" Could be a red herring but why would the Witches be mentioned mid TV interview of a Polish league meeting..... Yes it was Przemyslaw Pawlicki interviewed during the Grudziadz v Gorzow meeting on Friday after his first ride.

cowboy cookie returns? 746 Posted May 3, 2022 5 hours ago, mikebv said: Can't believe Ipswich have been allowed to do this... Nowhere near 25% of matches completed... No point having rules... (Or indeed, regulations)... Is there? Might as well as give them the title now.... I blame Poole... The 25% rule is for premiership matches only so no rules broken. However once again it shows just how hard the rule book is to interpret. A transfer window is a fine idea but stick to dates. Eg the first window opens on November 1st and closes on December 31st the second window opens on June 1st and closes on July 30th

See earlier postings on this thread. "A Premiership Transfer Window opens after 25% of the League fixtures are complete and closes when 75% of League fixtures are complete. This permits changes to the team on 2 occasions, except for proven long term injury." So ... given that I haven't read every single reply ... is that 25% of all League fixtures or 25% of each team's League fixtures? Either way, the % works differently for each team, depending on matches completed (home/away and postponements). Another rule that's not thought through. If it's 25% of all League fixtures, has anyone worked out the current scheduled date? Edited May 4, 2022 by Roger Jacobs

If it's 25% of all League fixtures, has anyone worked out the current scheduled date? It is 25% of league fixtures across the whole league. This introduces yet another problem. The date of the window's opening and closing won't be known until the events have happened. Imagine: it is Monday night 14 of 60 league matches have been ridden, then Wolves get rained off and a thunderstorm floods Peterborough after heat 9. Now all those new signings have to wait a few more days. Scrap it now. 1
Roger Jacobs 551 Posted May 4, 2022 Unless I've missed a match or two in the fixture list, I make it that (without postponements), the 15th & 16th matches take place on Thursday, 2nd June. At that stage the teams will have ridden: Home Matches Away Matches Total Matches Belle Vue 2 4 6 Ipswich 4 1 5 King's Lynn 3 3 6 Peterborough 2 3 5 Sheffield 2 2 4 Wolverhampton 3 3
Sings4Speedway 3,223 Posted May 13, 2022 Anyone got any news on Rowe's "illness"? he misses the Leicester match tonight at Edinburgh so figure that his illness ban will extend to the next Witches fixture also?
