So who's in for Ben then? R/R what a let down for the final meeting...

Thomas Jorgensen would be the best bet, if he's available.

Not at this short notice I would guess...

Thomas Jorgensen's current Scunthorpe Green Sheet average is 7.11 while Ben Barker G.S.A. is 6.79 so that counts him out as replacement.

It's 7.13, due to the 5% allowance for home meetings.

Are we allowed a facility for Barker?

Should be.  But he might get a suspension for withdrawing through non-speedway injury.

It will be extremely harsh if Ben receives a ban for missing today ,as surely safety is a priority and he states he’s not in a good place now , so to me not been in a good place and trying to force him to ride isn’t the answer

I agree (which is why I underlined "might" in my post), if, indeed, it is due to the sad passing of Dave Tattum, that Ben has withdrawn today.

I don't think cookie got a ban in broadly similar circumstances so a precedent already set that he shouldn't IMO

A little unfair I think given the circumstances.

Hope it's a brilliant afternoon for all in attendance, crying shame that it might be the last ever meeting.

As much as I'd love to see us win our last meeting, Birmingham taking all 4 points and getting closer to knocking Scunthorpe out the play-offs would be extremely sweet.
