Who knows what their attitude will be to speedway next year. The biggest asset Kent have is Len and his experience. He has his detractors; but must have a wry smile watching the newer promotions all of whom had good ideas and did some good things generally , but couldn't make it financially viable, fall by the wayside whilst "Lens way/the old way" seems to work. I think Kent will be OK whilst Len's OK, the problem for Kent is the vacuum after Len?

moxey63 1,785 Posted September 22, 2021 Think they're gonna have to re-invent speedway again next year. Replace the Play-Off with Last Man Standing Cup.

New age culture - there's always someone to blame for everything, and it's always someone else. Just surprised that nobody's blamed Boris Johnson for the Brummies demise yet. He cops the blame for everything else, innit?

Not even Boris can take the blame for speedway's state - he's got enough on his plate with what he's done with the country.
Deano 1,318 Posted September 22, 2021 Water is free at the bar. Ask for tap water with ice. Only a mug buys bottled water.
Gazc 7,093 Posted September 22, 2021 Did Flint not guest for the Brummies' against Newcastle on Sunday. Just when you think the farce that this sport is couldn't surprise you any more it manages it.
Col 854 Posted September 22, 2021 8 hours ago, HGould said: Things like taking bottled water off supporters in a queue to get in baking hot night to ensure they bought his bottled water at inflated prices that was of no cash benefit to speedway. Every meeting I've attended I've brought a bottle of water with me, never been questioned so wonder when that occurred. Prices in the stadium are disgraceful, but it is the same at all sports events.
