Peterborough Panthers 2022

Recommended Posts

We won't be signing him anyway because Ostergaard will return.

Ostergaard is going to be much cheaper than Buczkowski, Crump, Cook etc. plus he's a rider that has a strong bond with the fan base so a deal would tick a few boxes for Buster and the rider.

Crump is finished. Shocked that people want him in the side.

Not exactly "finished" as a rider. If he had a 3.00 ave I'd agree with you.

I would not want Crump. IMO thinks only of himself and shows little team loyalty.

helps the youngsters, so that'd make him redundant at Peterborough

It says on Peterborough website most of last year's team will be back, I think Bucko will be back but it would be a massive shock if Nicholls, MPT and Hans are not in the team.

I believe that if possible the only change Management would wish to make would be a replacement  for Pedersen. I  would not want Iversen back due to fitness concerns and injury  prone

You could sign him, and then use R/R all season again :D

Then you got most of last years riders back :P

In all seriousness Buczkowski to Panthers instead of Ostergaard and a 5 pointer at reserve makes real sense.

Wonder if Ostergaard may not be fit enough to start the 2022 season ,some back injuries can take a while to fully heal and then theres the fitness to build up again

Rode for the same club for the majority of his peak years in Britain, even when they were naff. Plus, exactly how many riders these days are in a position to put "loyalty" ahead of everything else?

Or do you mean he thinks of no one else on the track? Not sure I'd go with that either. Maybe when he was flying as a no.1, but not now.

Until a rider is announced, I'll put him in any predicted team
