Recommended Posts

Let's hope the racing improves in the next three meetings..

And that we get the best two race tracks on show in the final...

You miss it deep down.

Watching the Pirates pottering around in the minor league must sting a bit.

The minor league as you call it is more competitive!

If Batchelor gets going Tigers for the title.

Only if Stef is back, I don't think they can do it without him.

The rain before the meeting made the track awkward to say the least.

well done to Peterborough who will now feel they are favourites to go through.

Peterborough is a far superior track to Wolves whatever the conditions. recentl watched Peterborough v Newcastle from a few years ago…. Cracking meeting

Haven’t missed it at all due to the leagues being of virtually the same strength and more teams in the Championship. While it remains this way I am happy for the club to remain in the league with the most teams. And impossible to pick who will win the league as well. Enjoy the 6 team league.

Really? We belong in the top league, no matter how many teams are in it.  Winning the Championship is nowhere near as prestigious as winning the Premiership and it's records that count.

Well done Peterborough.  Place in the final is theirs to lose.  To many of our riders simply did not turn up

Umm the amount of teams definitely matter! Maybe if you pay Matt the difference of running in the prem compared to the Champ then maybe we could go back? Heard it is 5 figures.

It wasn't a great advert for Speedway but conditions taken into account it was decent, enough. Just shows the benefit of having a few riders who'll give their all regardless of track conditions rather than riders who only bother when the track suits them

Irrelevant. That's a separate issue from the one I was making Ms Colette.

Rumours suggest we're heading back to the Prem next season anyhoo, and I hope they're true.
