Scunthorpe Scorpions 2022

Can't wait for the team to be announced good heat leaders strong second string and a good base at reserve . Still be bottom of league though according to all the Rob G haters :t:

How can anyone say if they haven't seen the team yet? I may not be a Rob Godfrey fan, but if he builds a respectable team out on track, they will be as good as anyone else to do a good job. Doesn't mean I like the way that British speedway is run though, but it has nothing to do with the league placement of the Scorpions...

Douglas ; Allen; Jorgensen; Lambert ; Palin; Kennedy; MacDonald.

Yep agree, how could a team loose with 3 qld riders ,top it off 4 ausies, cup would be in hand

Scunthorpe 2022 will better than last which, despite all predictions, made the PO

I wont predict the line up - but I would expect a mixture of assets and EWR specialists - with a potential of points on the road :)

There will surely be an Aussie and a Brit  - maybe even a Scandinavian

We WILL be entertained

Come on Rob Godfrey and Dave Peet start giving us some firm news

I fully expect Simon Lambert , Jordan Palin and Josh McDonald to be the base of the side with Jake Allen also to be in the side ,but dont know how many points these four would take up hoping for Douggy at the very top  but who knows . Come on Scorpions let’s have some names in the seven spots

There was doubts about Jorgy as Redcar have offered better money allegedly

Just hope we track a side what’s capable of winning home matches and a couple of away ones

I don't see what the big fuss is about Ellis,  I'd rather have someone who's fully committed to Scunthorpe and won't miss as many meetings

I was really happy when we signed him but to me he never really hit the scores away like I thought he would

I wouldn't sign Josh McDonald, crashes way too much.

So did Steve Worrall when he first rode for Scunny, wonder what happened to him ?

Tai Woffinden's first race ended with him going through the wooden fencing at bend 1. What happened to him.
