Belle Vue v Peterborough Panthers - Grand Final

Recommended Posts

Congratulations to Peterborough, a side which has comfortably exceeded most people's expectations (mine included) over the course of the season. Honestly thought Belle Vue would turn them over during the course of the two legs; the rally from 10 down at the NSS appeared pivotal at the time and probably gave them the confidence to push on tonight.

Commiserations to Belle Vue, who must be heartily sick of these near-misses.

Hope Bewley stays in British speedway. He may not be the best team rider but he is a fantastic racer.

Anyone else think Nicholls should have been excluded for knocking Wright out of the way?

Well done to Peterborough. The best team won over the two legs. Pulling back 8 points in the first leg was a big step towards being champions.

Well deserved title for the Panthers - by far the most consistent side all season and certainly the most determined at the crunch times when the small margins make the difference between winning and losing

Congratulations to Peterborough. A team written off by all. A team even through injuries managed to still keep up the momentum.

Absolutely sensational
