Apart from apparently and suggesting Tom binned it in heat 15 last week yeah Mike likes his one liners.

All about opinions Gazc. Sometimes right, sometimes wrong.

bit like this forum.

I don’t think Tom went down on purpose. Us Monarchs get a bit edgy at heat 15 deciders.

We don’t call it binning it in these parts - it’s called doing The Pontus.

Absolutely but if its an official press release for a professional sports team/club it shouldn't contain opinions unless it's quotes from a club official, just doesn't come across well.

The gap between the two promotions in terms of professionalism is a chasm.

Better than the random musings of a bitter old crank casting aspersions

I'm struggling to see why some fans (and professionals) appear to be upset about tomorrow night's meeting at Armadale and the Glasgow line-up, particularly those that think the Tigers are at it. It is good that both teams reached the KO Cup semis and the Play-off semis. Through no fault of there own dates were proving difficult, all going back to the Birmingham debacle as others have mentioned. However, it looked as if things were progressing nicely with the Play-off 1st leg due at Armadale last Friday and Tigers suggesting tonight for the 2nd leg. If we had suggested our normal Friday night,  Marcin wouldn't have been available due to his forthcoming marriage. This meant no need for guests and also Edinburgh would have been able to use their normal Friday night to play Poole in the KO Cup - common sense prevails. Note to conspiracy theorists Marcin was not getting married last Saturday and would have been in the team on the Friday! However, this all changed when Edinburgh called off their leg of the play-offs due to the weather. Again in the interests of the sport we agreed to host the 1st leg, even though we were entitled to have the 2nd leg and also go to Armadale tomorrow night for the now 2nd leg despite being without Marcin. Under the rules established by precedent we would be entitled to a guest and we have booked one whose average is actually slightly less than Marcin's. So why do some Monarchs fans think we are at it????

No problem, you are using the rules….just as others have in the past. Cam makes you stronger no doubt, but then if you are allowed a guest, it makes sense to pick someone suitable.
No doubt we will have a word with him after the meeting about his availability for 2022, and whether he and Drew might travel together to Armadale, to ride for us of course. I am happy to assist with the diesel for said trips. !!

Beyond the realms of possibility of 2 away wins?

Not at all. We’ll know pretty quickly whether we’re at the races tonight. If Richie, Sam and Josh are all on song we could take the win and close any gap near the end of the meeting.
