Why would tai ride in British speedway for belle vue given his strong bond with wolves and Peter Adams who has said he continues to work closely with tai for the GP’s, if tai was going to ride in England surely it’s wolves or no one ?

Not the case. He has apparently approached BV.

If Tai is not riding in Sweden, he can ride in GB.

Living at home in gb and commuting to Poland and the gps would probably be favourable to basing in Poland as he has in the past.

With only 6 clubs I'm not sure why they didnt look at adopting a squad system in addition to the number 8

So the number 8 comes in if one of two reserves are injured, if both are injured then one guest.

A number 9 to act as cover to riding positions 2,3,4 & 5

A number 10 who acts as cover to the no.1 rider

Could/Would this be more attractive to some riders over here?

Masters/Lindgren at Wolves

Fricke/Tai at BV

Holder/Pedersen at Sheffield

Doyle/Vaculik at Ipswich

Pickering/Lambert at Lynn

Palm-Toft/Bjerre at Peterborough

Obviously a non start unless polish restrictions were to be removed

Running a Squad is expensive, riders won't sit around for nothing

Depends what the set up is

Not everything can run like Poland with signing on money etc.

If it's just a case for having the "opportunity" to get some extra track time it can be agreed that they get paid when they race, like 99% of all riders in British Speedway

He’s not based in the UK currently is my understanding.

I’m not sure how he would only do home meetings tho, so something has changed for him to be approaching us again.

Out of interest, with this speculation about Tai, what would his average be?

His last  British average was 7.03.

With a British reduction 6.85.

That's a steal. If the rumour has any substance, he would certainly fit.

Absolutely.

I would be surprised if Tai is planning to return to the UK to ride that Wolves would not want him in their team.

People genuinely believe the nonsense about Tai only riding for Wolves? The guy approached BV before joining Wolves in 2016.

He is based in UK again, he's not basinf himself in Poland d next year. Only UK.

And while yes. There have been talks with tai, there is nothing secured yet, we have a little bit of time to find the extra money but if they can't find that balance by end of Jan then it's gonna be a long season

So while it could be a very exciting year at the same time it could be a disaster.

I'm not getting excited just yet

The point I was making was that if Tai is returning to the UK surely Wolves would want him in their team especially on the steal of the average he comes in on.

Maybe Wolves did sound him out for only for him to say that he only wants to be at Belle Vue, I don't know.

If Belle Vue have convinced him to ride for Aces it would be a major coup for the club and transform the Teams line up.

And along with Fricke they would have 2 GP riders in their team, wonder when the last time a UK team had 2 GP riders in their team.
