Now this surely is one of those instances where the meeting shouldn't be ran or made into a "challenge"..

Does the sport no favours constantly  having such "made up" teams..

If you win, it's not really your team, and if you lose, it's not really your team..

Meaning you wont be too happy nor will you be too disappointed, depending on the result.. .

Team Sports shouldn't ever as a result of their operating model remove that emotional attachment the fans need..

Not to mention the possible impact to attendance with the No1 crowd puller missing in Bomber..

There must be other Saturday nights when this could have been ran surely?

Getting the fans to believe in the "product" is a key issue for UK Speedway to overcome...

Constantly churning out such situations doesnt help it achieve that sadly...

A shame, as what can be such a great spectacle deserves a much better infrastructure built around it...

We have a packed out schedule until September, and have got 2 very popular former Bandits in as guests. But I do completely understand what you mean, it’s not our team, but a lot of fans will be very happy to see Complin ride in Bandits colours again.

Club has been waiting for latest medical reports, but neither will be available this Saturday against Redcar.

Rider-replacement will cover for Leon, and Lee Complin comes in at reserve for Ty.

Chris Harris has been selected (along with Lambert, Bewley and Ellis, Tom Brennan the reserve) for the British team to ride in the European Team Championship event at Poznan at the weekend, and Nick Morris will guest at #1 for the FTS Bandits.       Luke Crang will be #8.

Saturday night just got harder.

It’s really a World Team Cup Final in disguise. Most of the Worlds best are there, good prize money on offer.Just surprise the Brits see Harris as the future and have Brennan at reserve.

Yeah I don't get why you wouldn't have Brennan in it and Palin or someone as the reserve. That's what Danes and poles do but for some reason we sent a guy whose pushing 40

Maybe a cost cutting exercise as Bomber already has the kevlars

Actually all joking apart, Bomber is riding as well as anyone else these days and IMHO deserves to be in the team.

Whether we should be field a younger team is up for debate and equally I think Tom Brennan deserves his place in the team ahead of Ellis.

The only way the likes of Brennan, Palin and even Kemp are going to get better is by gaining more experience by riding against the best from other countries.

If it's illegal to discriminate against age in "normal" jobs must be in speedway too! Best way to do it, is invite highest averaged riders, regardless of age

That's fine in theory but some riders don't want to ride for their country and others faces don't fit.

Looks to be polish tv reinventing an event that hadn't been sold to the Mickley mouse channel.

It's not discrimination it's preparing riders for the future who might actually have the ability to win the thing. I'm reminded of a pairs event last season, Denmark sent Kevin juhl pedersen and mads Hansen. Britain sent Harris. I don't see the benefit of it myself
