Unfortunate that Dan is carrying a falsely high average into next season. Somewhere around 4 would be ideal, but there we are, can't change it!

Rowe seemed to be affected last season by his knee injury and wasn't the same afterwards, he came back very soon. If he comes into 2022 fully recovered he could be a steal for whoever has him.

Why do people keep saying false average? He earned that average!

Because teams were built around a low average so all riders should have increased their average

So then it's still not false as everyone should be the same. However teams were only built 1 point lower if that. A 3* could have been 3.49 so the team would have been 41.49. Not really lower

Talk me through that? Most teams built to a 42 point limit for 2020. There were minimal changes when RS scheme was introduced. We're building to 42 points again for 2022. Nope I'm definitely not following you there

Even if their average as gone down? Or if their average as gone do you mean it's higher than it would've been if teams were built around a high average?

Permission to have a lie down please me brain just went poof!

He did. On the back of his form during the first half of the season especially, whilst at reserve.

Sooo.... What's false about his average if it's based on his form?

Simple ....his average and his form are not currently matched.

Best way to have averages matching form is to reduce the rolling 20 match average to 1 match. Sorted.

Is it really 20?

In that case I'm not surprised that Dan is still up over 5.

If Richie is going to Glasgow then he has a thing about riding for teams who haven't won anything for a while or get so close so many times!
