In a good season he's a 5.50 - 7.00 rider. Makes sense if he's up for it.

Can’t see Edinburgh fans fancying Sedgmen.Needed Cook to shepherd him round in his decent season there.

sedgmen isn't a heatleader, edinburgh know that so unless they are backed into a corner can't see him being signed. Wonder what delay is? stadium related.

I don’t think anyone had suggested he’d be signed as a heat leader. His average is only just a little over 5.

If Edinburgh build strength in depth Sedgmen could end up as a heat leader!

I'm not suggesting that if Edinburgh have 8 points to play with then make Sedgmen a heat leader, just if they have 5.6 points to play with - then he fits as a 3rd heat leader!

If it's a choice if Sedgmen & a 4.00 reserve vs Wolbert & a 2.00 reserve, which is the stronger pair?

We will be riding next season, team building is well under way, management will be assessing all available options for our 1-7.

Wolbert and a 2.00. No question.

I feel it's the complete opposite, but there you go!

Lawson on decent machinery would be decent at reserve.

We have said that for years right enough talented but his machinery let’s him down.

Which is the most frustrating thing in the world.
Problem is the penny will never drop that running then same bag of spanners won’t score you points.

I'm maybe missing something, but I thought Wölbert was already signed up in 3 leagues, so wouldn't be available for the UK anyway.

Or is this just purely about hypotheticals?

Totally agree, but you really can’t see him doing anything about it now.It was like he was on a lawnmower most of last season.

Seem to recall seeing the exact same message some weeks ago.  From reading so far, they have been unfortunate with a few knock-backs recently, but Edinburgh PR is usually pretty good at keeping the interest alive , this being somewhat of a departure from the usual.   Maybe the sponsors are being kept in the loop but since most other teams are complete now, there is clearly a delay in processing the necessary to allow a reveal ?   Maybe Visa issues holding things up possibly or they have not yet fully interrogated the Lucky Dip selection.   Looks like 4 gems need to be found before a sigh of relief can be taken.
