Becker? Doesn't he ride in Poland? Think he stays with Janowski when he's over there.

Rides in 1st Division. Sure last season the chat was his visa only allowed for one league

He has changed his visa in the past as he was due to lineup for Somerset in 2020. But I believe he's usually signed up in Sweden and Poland too so wouldn't do Championship

With Swedish league in disarray, and crowds through the floor, the chances are many riders will not be offered a berth in cost cutting measures. If less than a thousand turned up for the final, how can they pay for a team of top riders? Some like Doyle have realised this and got themselves sorted over here before the stampede.

He won’t be the first to enquire about team berths. Lesser Polish riders will also start to talk about the opportunities of riding here. The Tungates, as well as riders such as Rew, Miskowiak etc might find a team berth here more viable than Sweden.

I reckon Poole will lineup as last season without Basso and Schlein. Zach Cook to replace Basso and a straight swap for Schlein!

That would leave 4.7 available to replace Schlein

Doyle has always preferred UK to Sweden due to family, hence him wanting to be here last year only for Swindon to halt. Sweden is heavily propped up by sponsors, even their streaming service has major sponsors behind it.

I'd say Sweden looks even stronger next year money wise, this year they started without the top stars and brought them in further into the season once Covid restrictions were relaxed

Well if they now want to rock up over here then if they are no more expensive to employ than who we current have then fine. Otherwise why jeopardise your finances for a ‘name’ on a team sheet.

I'd say that happens all the time in British Speedway.

Swedish speedway has suffered huge losses due to small crowds this season even after the lifting of restrictions so it will take sometime to recoup them.

As reported in the Star they won't be able to afford the top star line ups like this season, no matter when they came in.

Champions Dackarna cud only attract 989 for the home leg of the play off final with Woffinden, Doyle, Janowski Thorssell etc in their side.

That must have crippled the club"s wallet.

Isn't it about time that British clubs started publishing their attendances? The clubs must know for tax reasons if nothing else so why keep it a secret from the fans?
