Does anyone know where Sam Jensen is headed next season? Is he staying in Britain?

Don’t know, but would take him at Berwick, could be an improver.

Did he not get a Polish gig for next season as well as his Danish commitments. Remember reading that somewhere a while back.

But with no room for him at Glasgow next season Berwick would be a good fit for both parties.

Needs more consistency but when he is on it boys a racer.

Agree,100% effort.Slick tracks don’t help him though.

Yep that’s when the inconsistent performances kicked in tail end off the season when tracks were slick.

Sams girlfriend has a child on the way and doesn’t want to travel overseas next year also  has a his new danish club and was riding for the german club wittstock in the polish 2nd league but think the poles are against this as the team on paper looks pretty weak also might be in swedish 2nd division

I don’t understand why it’s such a secret. What is the reason from them publishing then new end of season averages.

Surely the starting averages for team building purposes in 2022 is what is required rather than 2021 end of season averages. An explanation on how they were calculated would also be helpful e.g averages, minus bonus points, based on the whole of the 2021 season, minus Eastbourne matches. Or based on the last 20 meetings no matter which year. Or a conversion rate from championship to premiership. Or assessed, etc

Well the average they finished on last season tends to be the one they start on the following.

Not if some riders get a 2.5% discount, not if you missed a season or two, not if you are riding in a different division from last year, not if the Eastbourne fixtures get removed, not if you were a rising star, not if you are on an assessed average being a rider who has never ridden in the UK or are returning from a serious injury.

So looks like Glasgow will have to buy Basso from Poole. Figure could be high due to the visa costs etc

And as I mentioned on the Poole thread - Matt will be looking to recoup some of his lost Christmas bookings at the Chateau now that France has banned tourists from UK from Saturday, so a big fee probably. It will probably go to arbitration by the BSPL Board - I guess Danny will have a view!;);):party:

How did we manage that? Are they changing rules on the spur of the moment like F1? ;)

Rules have been bent for many years in pooles favour.
