Also, dunno if it's been on here,,, Newcastle Speedway are putting on an exhibition at the Northumberland County Show 3rd June. Surely that's a first? Maybe Steve or some other tekky minded person could put up a link to it. Looks interesting.  :)

Does “putting on an exhibition” mean of racing or of bikes etc? If the latter, speedway has been promoted at many different non motorsport events over the years. If the former, won’t the noise scare the horses (and all the other livestock)?

A group of us (including Steve Brock) have been doing shows, schools, festivals, etc, for over a decade with videos and three bikes from different eras, advertising Newcastle Speedway to everyone. Where have you been ?

Yeah Dave know all that, but isn't the NCS a pretty big gig?, (that's what a meant),,, not some car boot sale at Wellfield! ;)

A actually seen yous at Crammy shops, outside Gregg's,,, top patch.

The Police Motor Shows in Durham are just as big and we used to do them regular. Also the Tyneside musical festival in Heaton Park. And they weren't anywhere near the smallness of Welldfield shows either.

Probably the biggest festival so far to get the club promoted .. well done to the current promotion
