Just read on sgb Congreve was representing GB at an international event in Germany at the weekend. Brings more into question his 4.00 average

Probably should of come on a 2.00 average as not even attaining that at the moment.

So was Connor Bailey (described as 'guest' in their pre-publicity) while Austria's Dany Gappmaier was a guest for Germany.  I dont think it was an official meeting in any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah but Connor has committed to representing GB hence qualified as a RS last season, came in on a 2.00 as well. But yes if wasn't official fair enough

Jeez what a bummer having two 'international' meetings running on the same afternoon. Did Bomber Harris have to flip a coin to decide which one to ride in?

They probably got their Jack hammers out and ripped it all out to guarantee the problem will not reappear

From the first lot of pictures posted of the work it didn't look like they had dug it out.

If it has hopefully been dug out I guess someone will be clocking up a good few laps in a heavy vehicle ensuring the surface is well packed down?

Interesting though that not too long ago Sedgeman was being touted as a possible No 1 at Newcastle.

all rather academic.  it would have just meant the Diamonds would've been 5 points under the limit rather than 3.  Then in reality given Congreve's scores that's 7 points under the limit. Potentially 9 points if Wilson Dean had not been cruelly injured riding round at the back.

but a valid point to make as it raises an interesting question? Can the Diamonds sign work permit riders or not? Presumably Wilson Dean was granted one having ridden in the UK previously but new foreign riders are probably the only hope the Diamonds have of strengthening their side.

most of the best one's will be riding in Poland but I'm sure by now some won't be getting much track time and might just fancy a spell in Britain on a newly laid track for as much sausages as you can eat!!
