Have Edinburgh forgotten that they have an NDL team?

Danny Phillips, Tom Woolley and George Rothery haven't been signed anywhere else, so it seems a near certainly that they're back.  Would expect the Millars back too, so why can't they name those 5?

They need a heat leader, and Willie Lawson would fit the bill.  Alternatively maybe Benji Compton?   Either of those would leave room for a sub 5.00-pointer like Josh Embleton.

What's taking so long?

Looking like this prediction was spot on.

Phillips, Woolley, Rothery, Lewis Millar and Josh Embleton finally named.

Gregor Millar surely a certainty.   Leaves room for Willie Lawson.

Any ideas who the final signing will be and when he'll be announced? Is it going to be Willie?

In this week's Star John Campbell says he's confident this year's team "can surprise a few this year, and pick up some positive results"

To make that claim he must surely know who the No.1 is, so why hasn't it been announced?

They may be waiting to announce it in the season launch show next week. Does seem a little OTT to wait until then, but if hes making bold statements in speedway star such as that then he may be expecting some wow factor from the fans.

None the less, i will be there to watch :D

That comment sounds like they have a weak team planned, a strong team doing well wouldn't be surprising!

Well who knows apart from those who know !    Consulted the crystal ball last night but all it was revealing was the white tablecloth underneath, so none the wiser.

Yes he will, I dunno why it's taking to long to announce the final rider? By all accounts he's been signed up for months and it's most likely Willie Lawson anyway

Surely Willie Lawson would be announced by now if it was him.   Problem is that I can't think of any other northern-based No.1 who would fit the bill.   Maybe they're hoping Lawson can fit in speedway with his road racing.

If they can't get a No.1 they look to be in trouble.

Has to be a limit surely? The league has started and yet the team isn't announced.  If a rider is signed declare them if not be honest....
