Reasonable to argue he is even the favorite in that qualifer right? Perhaps not with the track being in Britain and some others maybe being more experienced there but in terms of quality I would put him up there, fantastic rider.

Will certainly be a Contender on the day, but it’s a tough gig.

If he doesn’t qualify on the night I think he could  get a wild card pick

Certainly a possibility, one thing I thought of the other day is, if the situation in Ukraine gets better the pressure on the wild cards get a lot tougher with Sayfut and Laguta both probable to get one each. Then having 3 left for all other riders is not a lot to go around since rider placing 7-9 in the standings have often performed quite well

No Kolodziej this weekend for Leszno who are already missing Piotr Pawlicki - Presumably it’ll be Rew at no.8 and he will replaced one of them with RR for the other.

Have anyone said that Koldziej is definately missing ? because he is supposed to be in the SEC challenge final on Saturday. Leszno can make a change to their line- up.

Kolodziej has pulled out of that too according to Sportowefakty

Michelson ruled out against Ostrow too

Expecting Thomsen to be missing on Sunday too after he suffered concussion last night

Edit: Now confirmed Thomsen is missing too

PGE Ekstraliga really needed to do a Guest rider rule over the Russian invasion imo. One injury to teams that were already at a disadvantage before a wheel was turned is now leaving them with a mountain to climb.

I wasn’t a huge fan of it when they brought it in for 2020 as covid guests - but it was soon abused and not used as intended. They did recognise that and changed it for last season although was never actually needed from memory.

I hate the guest rule full stop. It’s my biggest pet hate of British Speedway. I would much rather see a weakened side retain their identity than borrowing riders and then winning matches. Injuries are part of speedway unfortunately and Polish teams have large squads including their U24 teams to pick riders from.
