Speedway Betting 2022

Sheffield -8 for me. Jye Etheridge & Jake Allen in the 1-5 with Norick Blodorn at reserve who lacks UK experience should see Sheffield win this by double figures imo.

I'm also backing Danny King Over 8, Hasn't started the season too well but 9 points is a very reasonable target for him around Foxhall.

Bet 365 go Torun -20 over Ostrow and Grudziadz +4 over Wroclaw. In E Winner they go Rybnik -6 against Landshut.

Betting on the 1st match today as well- Rawicz -2 over Rzeszow- Have bet Przyjemski over Lampart

Przyjemski Over Lampart to start things off.

Then the latter meetings get more difficult but I've gone for Mads Hansen Over 8 in the Rybnik v Landshut Match.

I'm not that confident but the only bet that looks decent enough in the Torun v Ostrow match is Chris Holder Over 11 considering he's likely to get 6 rides.

Could be some value in backing Grudziadz to beat Wroclaw today.

4/4 Yesterday so today I'll place a few extra bets than I normally do.

Bydgoszcz -18 (This should be a mauling on paper imo but Speedway isn't ridden on paper so the bet could fall just short but the big handicap is worth chancing imo)

Gniezno to win (If Timo Lahti is riding then I'll cash out on this bet but it sounds like NKI is going to ride so on that basis I'll have to go with the home side edging a close one)

Unia Leszno vs. Stal Gorzow (Few bets placed on this, Couple of Leszno riders are being undermarked at Home imo)

Janusz Kolodziej Over 9

Piotr Pawlicki Over 8

Unia Leszno to win

Motor Lublin vs. Czestochowa

Motor Lublin -8 (I don't rate Czestochowa at all and I don't understand the managements logic at the club, Bringing back the full team that wasn't good enough to make the play-offs last year makes no sense to me, The teams strength is at reserve but that's irrelevant today as they're up against a duo that's just as strong if not stronger, Poor last week at Home to a Leszno team that's nothing to rave about suggests nothing has changed from last year imo)

Maksym Drabik Over 9 (10 points from 6 rides seems very fair to me)

Very mixed back yesterday at 3-4 although it should've been 4-3 if it wasn't for a clueless referee. (Meeting result could yet be overturned)

Today's early meeting picks.

DREW KEMP +2 vs. Norick Blodorn @ 1/1 (If Kemp gets the better of Blodorn in Heat 2 then this bet should come in comfortably imo)

CHARLES WRIGHT 0 vs. Luke Becker (Charles is riding with Jake Allen whilst Becker is riding with the track specialist in Douglas)

WOLVES to win (Not as confident in this one as the other two but I'm banking on one of the Wolves reserves turning up and putting in a performance to see the Wolf pack to victory, Flint likes the bigger tracks and Kemp seems to have hit some form for Poole recently)

Was surprised to see Belle Vue listed up as -2....I know Allen and Etheridge are not scoring many but still expect Belle Vue to overcome Wolves. Fricke, Kurtz, Wright, Brennan will all score heavily and I think Belle Vue will win by 8 points

Also backing Wright to score over 8 and Kurtz to score over 10

As Masters is riding with Worrall, he may be out to show Belle Vue what they missing im backing Masters to score less than 9 and also Fricke at -2 over Masters

Easy 3/3 from start to finish, Now onto the Panthers vs. KL meeting.

KL +6 (Panthers missing the key rider in the side with Simon Lambert stepping in, That's an 8-10 swing in KL's favour imo)

Iversen Over 8 (Undermarked here imo for someone who's got years worth of track knowledge on the Peterborough circuit)

Lawson Over 7 (Has been in fantastic form this season and 8 seems perfectly achievable)

After a disastrous morning, will try my luck with these.

Kings Lynn definitely +6 and a small play on Kings Lynn actually winning the meeting, 5/2 just for the win is way too generous in my opinion. Iversen over 8 and also Iversen +3 over Bomber. Bomber will probably be getting 10/11 points but as I cant see how Iversen doesnt also get double figures this has to be a bet.

Lawson over 7, again with the potential for at least 5 rides fail to see how he doesnt hit double figures.

Also Nicholls under 8. Apart from Heat 8 I fail to see where he is winning a race

For the Wolves Belle Vue meeting its all about Becker v Wright for me and i think Becker will come out on top in that battle hence taking Becker over 8, Wright under 7 and also Becker -1 over Wright

3/3 again for today's second meeting, Just Wolves -10 for me tonight to complete the full set hopefully.

Good luck all and I'm glad @heathcote took the bookies to the cleaners too during the Panthers vs. KL meeting.

Always hard to predict a match where RR is in use as you're having to guess just which heat each rider will be used, but here my take.

Whilst the Stars will run out comfortable winners in the end I think the first half of the meeting could be close, so taking a punt on Peterboro +4 after heat 8 at 11/10

The only known use of RR will be that of Scotty in heat 13 and I doubt he will trouble the scorers too much in that heat when up against NKI and Lawson, hence backing Scott to get less than 8 at 6/4.

Fancy Lawson to continue is good start to the season and get over 11 at 6/5, NKI should also be able to get over 9 and also backing that at 11/10. Also a slight fancy for Lawson to outscore Bomber with a 2 pt start, even though Bomber could be having 6 rides at 8/11....admittedly he could end up with 7 if the Panthers are poor, but if they are that poor then Bomber is also not scoring high in the first place, in my opinion.

Also a play on Palin to outscore Thomas with a point start at 6/5, If the meeting is close always a chance Worrall will replace Thomas at some stage in the meeting
