Why look for a replacement? Same situation as Plymouth, team will be far stronger using guests for as long as possible!

What about the credibility of the sport? Teams shouldn't be allowed to use guests for a lengthy period

2018 season steve Worrall broke his leg in first match for scunthorpe and they used a guest for the rest of the season.

Shouldn't have been allowed. Joke sport!

From memory that was only the half of it.

Didn't Lakeside find a number of their matches being called off a few days before they were due to be raced on a Friday night because the Management Committee were concerned about rider availabilty because almost every team would be racing on a Friday night.

I seem to remember Jon Cook going ballistic about it and Lakeside having a big Fixture backlog.

Nothing to do with Scunthorpe needing a No 1 Guest though!  ??

Last season's premiership champions used guests from June after ulle got injured. Commonplace really

Just seen BWD has had a meeting with Alexander Armstrong to interview as Richard Osman's replacement.

(Ouch! Sorry, just a friendly little dig there between rivals. Will probably come back to bite me on the bottom later lol).

Lakeside were never supposed to have Fridays as their official race night, it was supposed to be Saturday, but Cook had the management over when he released his fixtures. Hence the back lash.

Doesn't make it right. Sometimes it's just a lack of effort in searching for a new rider. Also no doubt comes down to cost. Cheaper to pay a guest already in GB than say bringing over a new Dane. Does nothing for the credibility of the sport at all though.

Is there anyone filming at Newcastle this season?

Yes. John Ellsbury, but I'm not sure if it's still for Ken Burnett's company T2TV.

A lower team limit total and the continued inclusion of the RS system in the championship would of helped with the present rider issues

Looking at the mess that was the u21 semi final yesterday, do you think any of those riders not currently attached are anywhere near champ level? As that's the riders your be promoting
