Glasgow v Newcastle Championship - Friday 15 April 2022 7.30pm

Recommended Posts

Opening fixtures normally attract big crowds. Matches against Northern teams normally attract visiting fans desperate to see their team in action. Yet for some reason this match has been chosen to be one of Glasgow's streamed meetings. This is likely to result in few if any diamonds fans making the journey north which would be a shame as they are a good lot, normally. Surely a meeting between the Tigers and Poole or Plymouth for example is the type of meeting that should be streamed. Anyway a comfortable home win for the Tigers is the prediction with very few viewers watching the stream.

Understand the thinking behind the why pick this meeting for streaming. However using your own logic the majority of the meetings involving Glasgow, Edinburgh, Plymouth and Poole as the home team would be streamed as by their location they have the longest journies for the majority of visiting fans.  Allowing that the Oxford first home meeting was always likely to be a sell out maybe that should have been picked as a streamed meeting.

Be disappointed if we don't hit 60. Is Harris guesting for bwd? Wouldn't be surprised!!

Guess fact 3 of our guys not had any competitive action this season so far might keep it competitive for a bit as diamonds be up to speed

Seems even more ridiculous got this match on streaming when Edinburgh Berwick be far more competitive.

If required given past ashfield experience assume be Barker then.

Actually hope it is now, be more entertaining at least
