Championship will never be any good while it has heat leaders that are also riding as heat leaders in the premiership. Championship heat leaders should be fighting to get a reserve or second string berth in the premiership not heat leader status. That would then make the championship sides less of a jump from NDL level for the youngsters coming through.

Doesn't that mean that, the Championship is doing ok but the Premier League needs to improve?

Why cant we can get a official update on our number 1 issue? So we got RW for sunday and so far no one for friday

(they must know now)

TBF, the Friday fixture is just about a dead rubber and why incur any extra costs for a guest? Might aswell let the rest of the lads a 'chance' to earn a little bit more. The home meetings should take priority/keep home fans interested in today's climate,,, cos if you ain't got any home fans to support you, av a hunch that you'll inevitably have less chance of away support?

Let’s be honest… we know he ain’t gonna be rushing back soon if at all! The horses for courses game will be played where it can and for the longest time possible… it’s been done for years!

You're right, but where is BWD? Is he happy not riding and not being paid (surely not?) or is he being paid and not riding (even more surely not?)

It benefits Newcastle, but where is BWD?

All this discussion about the Leagues is  mainly been brought  up about because Newcastle made a mess of their Team building. We all know Speedway in UK is not in good shape ,but restructuring the League because Newcastle fans are not happy will never happen.

I'm sure the current Newcastle side will be a good looking side in about 3 seasons the way british speedway is going if latest murmurs have any truth behind them

TBF, although disappointed at the result a wasn't disappointed at the meeting. Was a couple of decent races and, a think the Newcastle riders put in a good deal of effort, Matty didn't seem quite as sharp as normal, Complin lost a few points to bike/riding issues, but James did really well. If there wasn't any machinery issues or we had a half decent performance from no.1, we could have won.

Pity Harris never put the same effort in yesterday at Newcastle like he has today at Peterborough

There will be 14 riders who go around the country seven nights a week representing every one of the teams...

Saturday and Sundays will have a "matinee match" at 12pm so the 14 lads can get to their evening meetings....

Nine matches per week, 18 teams, nine of equal capability, nine others of equal capability....

Plenty of riders to replace poor performers and injuries..

Bomber can ride for both teams...

As long as there isn't a Lucky Loser, the league might have some credibility
