Shocking news regarding Nigel Pearson. He will be very much missed by the Speedway Community as a whole.

Very Sad News.

Nigel was not only a TV presenter of speedway, but fan of speedway as well.

He will greatly missed and condolences to his family and friends.

RIP Nigel.

Horribly sudden and unlike an illness or cancer, where the person has time to say goodbye to friends and loved ones, I was told this evening it was an aneurysm that took Nigel away. I lost a friend several years ago to an aneurysm and they are fine one day and gone the next. Truly awful and at this time my heart goes out for Nigel’s family. RIP.

So sad to read the untimely death of what in my view was one of only a very few so committed and knowledgeable to the sport as a whole, I remember when he and Andrew Dalby did a double act at Newcastle in 2002 for Jesper's testimonial!!

Rip Nigel

Some of you are disgusting.

Fortunately, the vast majority of us are not...

I for one have missed you.

God bless Nigel.

Loads of tributes tonight, and rightly so.

I'll remember him as s Speedway nut, Baggies fan, and a man who tried to save Cradley.

Legend.

Absolutely horrible news.

he was absolutely superb at his job - his passion for the sport was unrivalled. Watching live speedway on tv will never be the same again.

RIP
