Birmingham v Berwick

Recommended Posts

It's looking great for tomorrow!

Should be a fairly even encounter....I think we will edge it 48-42

Someone said elsewhere we should speak to Basso to guest if Jye ain’t fit.. I’d not disagree with that one! We’ve got the pick of a lot of guests should Jye not be fit.. it’s do-able for us to get something from here!

If we're talking guests for injured Pearson...then Anders Rowe/Dan Gilkes would be my choice.

As for Berwick? Dan Thomson/Danny Hume/Max Clegg would be a competitive choice

Basso is already playing fast and loose with Britain, missed Peterborough's meeting yesterday -- probably cost them the match -- and while an undoubted talent, might not always be available for his UK clubs.........

But Jye Etheridge is hoping to be fit for Birmingham tomorrow.

You should really check the circumstances as to why he was missing.

Well it was known half way through last season that Basso was going to have a lot more commitments this season. Glasgow and Pboro obviously think he's worth it, so did Poole in a way!

Aye qualifying for sgp2 is fast and loose. Made a mess of that one haven't you. Suppose Tom Brennan was playing fast and loose when was winning world cup too eh?

Any team with the ambition of making the play offs must look at Birmingham away as a realistic chance opportunity of an away or at least a point or two. Berwick must do that tomorrow.

What has happened to Pearson?

Fell at Redcar on Friday. He and Shanes have declared themselves fit according to the Brummies site though
