Firstly, its not nice to see a mate get hurt like that, speedy recovery Dan mate - that was an awful crash.

Fair play to the Gladiators, better team on the night won.. Great choice of guests by Plymouth management.

Also, a quick thankyou to Ben Barker who came into Scorpions TV Media Center and had our first ever live on the spot interview

Dan paid for livestream would like to watch again but cannot get last 2 heats to replay am 8 doing something wrong?

We are aware of the issue, it was a problem with our streaming provider.. We have a copy of the recording on our laptop which will be sent to them in the next couple of days to be uploaded onto Scorpions TV to replace what we had..

We’ll announce when it’s on there..

On behalf of us all at ScorpionsTV, we sincerely apologise to anyone that had this issue

  • Thanks 1

For those that joined us last night on Scorpions TV, you may have noticed that once the stream ended, the rewind option only showed up to the end of heat 13. This has now been rectified and the full video is now back. Apologies for any inconvenience

Track was to slick mate seems a recurring theme when we lose at home. Fair play to Plymouth though looked a decent outfit

That's not how two ambulances work. If the paramedic is busy/has to go with the rider racing can't continue. The only solution is an extra paramedic but you're talking a lot of money

Should be 2 ambulances and 2 paramedics as Birmingham have now put in place, obviously not the the case on Friday night hopefully this is sorted very soon.

I am not sure the track was that slick, race times were about the same as normal. Could probably do a bit more dirt on the outside line for the likes of Allen, Lambet and Kinsley.

Not often right and seems you're wrong again... suggest you read the rule book.

From Dan Gilke's facebook page........

Quick update on Dan the man.
Following from his Heat 14 crash Dan was admitted last night at Scunthorpe General with 5 broken ribs, collapsed lung and several fractures on his right arm.
He will need surgery on his arm, but that will have to wait until his lung injury has improved.
As a family we would like to thank all the track staff and medical staff for the care you gave him on track. Thanks to Ben Barker, Harry McGurk, Hans Anderson and his mechanic for going above and beyond and helping Dan's sister pack up the van. We will keep you updated on his progress and would like to thank you all for your kind wishes.

This is explains why a second paramedic was called for and why it took a long time in checking him over and transferring him. Hope he has speedy recovery.

Not a question of being in the rule book more a question of providing adequate medical cover.

Full expected Kinsley to struggle and he's not doing anything to suggest otherwise. It is deeply concerning when he's losing to the likes of Danno Verge at NL level too

Unfortunately in Kinsley we seem to have got another Danny Phillips who is not ready for championship racing, I really want him to score a few points but how long can he keep his place when scoring zero’s. Scunny at the moment cannot carry any passengers.
