When you get rain like that, there is no magic wand you can wave; you have to RIDE the track into better shape, and that takes a few races.

And tbf there's been passing even early on; just progressively better racing in each block of four.

Have to say the racing has been very good - certainly better than any of the 80s world finals.

After heat 12 at Gorzow in previous SGP's Red Gate has accumulated 30% of the points, Blue 27%, Yellow 23% and White 20%. Will it be replicated tonight?

Not saying there is a magic wand but for about 90% of televised matches we hear “the track will get better” or “the track will come to the riders”. Basically telling fans you are only going to get half a decent meeting, not exactly a good selling point is it?

I'm really sorry we let the weather get in the way...

You don't think the racing was decent in the first ten heats?

Woffy just not mixing it when it gets tight anymore...

Doesn't put riders under pressure either when behind. ..

Lambert was very fair then, maybe too fair. .?

Injured rider so maybe he would have moved over if Lambert had puf him undrer more pressure...?

I’m not really it’s on cos hubby is watching, but everyone moans that not enough fans go thro the turnstiles and at most televised meetings the commentators more or less tell you that half the meeting is not good. Hardly going to persuade new folk thro the gate.

Sorry if my viewpoint offends you.

I just love how, every couple of weeks during the summer, the same mob surface on here to complain about EVERY GP - yet they still insist on watching (and having their say).

Is that what you're interested in? Or are you just interested in complaining because we can't control the weather?

Still a lot better than the vast majority of World Finals - and we have proof of that...
