Been raining for a couple of hours but due to clear up later. Fingers crossed. If it’s on there could be some fast times tonight.

Rain due to clear in the next hour or so. Fingers crossed it does and track has held up. Clearly Poole want it on otherwise it would have been called by now.

Poole have just put out a tweet saying ‘on as it stands. Track holding up well. Sunshine due shortly’.

Of course  if you don’t fancy risking it in person  you can jump on the Poole livestream when it’s confirmed it’s on and be entertained by Scott Mitchell commentary.

Great news! Now has every chance. Still got drizzle in Parkstone but due to start drying up. Not sure we will have many there but as Dickie head has said above, there is a very good live stream.

Don't think it is Scott Mitchell this week. He has got  darts match!! What he said on the Piratecast live YT video last week when he was interviewed.

Poole have chosen a team where their top 3 could be number ones in most other Championship teams. A big gamble with the pressure put on your other 4 riders to up their game/averages.

Your top 3 are unlikely to improve so to be successful it's the other 4 that have to improve!............ No pressure then.

Newcastle’s top3 could also be no1’s,  but in the national league !!

Lee Complin only took one race to get used to the Poole track again! Was leading Danny King in H6 at one point and a good battle with Zach when they kept passing and repassing for a couple of laps. Very unlucky to get 5-1'd.

Well done Pirates on the 58-32 Win

Stevie, job's a good un :t:

Wot happened with Lawson? Couple of below par rides.

Drew looking good judging by his score & Nathan doing his job  :t:

All round solid job. Sorted.

Result as expected. Track very good but riders not wanting to go out wide when it looked ok to. Eventually they did and found it was good to blast around. Smooth, plenty of dirt and no dust at all.

Lawson off colour. Not wanting to do anything in one heat and sat at the back. Not like him at all.  Worrall superb. King good. Ben Cook good, Zac less so tonight. Kemp hit and cold. So hesitant in one heat, then blast around the opposition in his next. A confidence issue? Ablitt battled.

For Newcastle Howarth was good value but Starke was woeful all night. Think he might have blown his best engine. Rest were hot and cold but Wright did ok. Complin battled all night and had the race of the night with Zac Cook.

The meeting lacked tension due to the result never being in doubt. Tougher tests ahead.
