Strange that most riders had a 1st or 2nd & the "superstar" C Cook only 1 point from 2 rides tells a different story! Nothing to do with the weather imo the weather has been pretty decent up here all week. Not sure who does the track now but we didn't really have any problems when Jonny Swales used to do it.
Gaz 214 Posted May 8, 2022 Obvs not on the track so not sure about hole on 1st and 2nd corner. Most crashes apart from Basso on 4th bend seemed mainly rider error and the last crash before the call off had nothing to do with track. The track tonight was no worse than last few weeks and actually better with the race between Wethers, Starke and Basso race of the season. If there were numerous complaints during the meeting why did the clueless Graeme Hunter wait until heat 10? It makes it look a farce and the meeting should defo of been completed. They said more grading was going to take place and then 5 mins later it’s off. Would Glasgow of been as quick to want it off if they were behind??
lisa-colette 6,017 Posted May 8, 2022 Basso filmed a bit of the track on his instragram stories, with a caption of 'the curb from the 70s' What does that even mean!! lol

Surely if the home riders were quite happy with track conditions then the referee would've had no option but to continue with the meeting.

Jonnybegood 254 Posted May 8, 2022 I believe It means there is still the remnants of the old concrete kerb coming through the surface currently

It’s down to the clown that does the track or makes it look like he’s doing something.
Jaizer 2,853 Posted May 8, 2022 Telling you god himself could be making a killing resolving all these tracks if wasn't busy at Northside. Never known a season with so many track complaints
scoobydoo 2,253 Posted May 8, 2022 Looks like a few championship promotions are trying to cut far to many corners to stay in business
Jaizer 2,853 Posted May 8, 2022 https://glasgowtigers.co.uk/brennan-fitness-fears-as-newcastle-trip-cut-short-by-dangerous-track/ If concrete base was showing was clearly no option
Gaz 214 Posted May 8, 2022 (edited) One pass all night according to Cami Brown when there was about 5 in one race and all proper passes. I don’t understand why the ref waited til heat 10 then? Edited May 8, 2022 by Gaz

Did Glasgow tried to get it called off then? Why wait til riders fall off? Hope Brennan hand is not broken. Edited May 8, 2022 by lisa-colette

Why would they have done that?? Poole fans regularly told us last season that there track hasnt been bad for years…
