Wolves v Ipswich Monday May 9th

Not at all. King did not win heat 12, Starke did so Danny only had 8 points.

Fair call by our team manager in my view

Another baffling decision by Hawkins to put Riss in over King in last heat, but good win anyway

Updates site had King winning, and now it's been changed to Starke so fair enough

Races that they showed on Eurosport, the track looked really dusty. Any reason why they didn't water the track? Was there rain threatening?

Starke packing up whilst leading heat 2 was a shame. Would have given him a double figure score. He’s riding really well and makes a big difference at reserve.

Jorgensen on the other hand has a pretty poor Monmore record so that weakens Wolves. Witches got to be targeting at least a point here.

Hume replaces Rowe for Witches.

Spot on, as proved TJ turned in a typical Monmore performance. Different story with Ryan in the team.

The injury to Douglas should mean Ipswich's chances of getting something from the meeting have gone up quite a few notches now.

As proved to be. Good win for the Witches. Missing Dougie made all the difference.

On the night Ipswich deserved the win. Doyle was imperious, heat 15 didn't matter. May have been a different result with Douglas but who can say for sure. Generally Wolves were poor, and as the match progressed could not see Wolves  how Wolves could win it. The  engine room of Becker and Jorgensen was very disappointing. Don't really attach any blame to Joregensen, expecting  a guest rider to ride as well as a home rider is unrealistic dispite his score of last week.  Becker is currently far below his performances of last year  let alone improving. The way the Wolves team is set up the top 5 have to perform, and that didn't happen tonight. The reserves will remain reserves all year and unfortunately at the moment it doesn't appear that they will be able to soften the load on the top 5. A job well done by Ipswich. Wolves are always going to be trouble when Barker scores Round Monmore !

Heat 15 did matter, Witches could've gained 4 points!

Not the first time CVS has picked a guest on the strength of 1 meeting.  Summed up by him coming out to the tapes in Heat 8 when he wasn't even in it.

Was Peter Adams not there then if CVS was making decisions usually made by the team manager?

I meant Doyle losing his maximum, Ipswich had already won. The final score flattered the Wolves.

Wolves were always going to lose last night no matter what the management decided.

Couldn't run R/R considering the form issues with Becker and reserves who haven't mastered Monmore yet.

Limited guests available and none of them would've got close to Dougie's points as he's just too good around Monmore these days.
