Poole Pirates Vs Berwick Bandits 18/5/22

Recommended Posts

Each club should have a field next to it and av cows grazing in it. When cows sense rain they lie down to keep a patch of grass dry :D

Who needs Michael Fish!

Has Chris Harris told nick Morris to go home he's guesting for batch at Birmingham now?

Just saving Nick a journey,it’s on his way home. Very considerate of him.

I'd like to think it will be rearranged before October! Trouble is if you rain off early, you should have waited and if you wait and the forecast is right then why did you not rain it off earlier.

according to the fixture list, Poole has no meetings on 15th or 29th June

Its not the rearrangements that cause the problem at the end of the season but the knock on effect it has. It happens every single year . Just look at the play offs last year. People dont go to watch in those crappy october evenings but speedway never learns

The November ones are better than the October ones! :D

Pools Panel Result: Pirates vs Bandits

Home WIN 56-34

If you had a system like this then no need for a rearranged meeting. Yes more in depth calculations wud be needed. Cricket as a solution for rain effected matches with duckworth/lewis.

Only rearrange play off & KO Cup meetings.

Riders not like it tho coz they not get paid. Bugga

Yeah forecast is a lot better now, but when it got rained off at near midday, at that time it was 90% chance of heavy rain at time of meeting! Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I am sure the management are gutted that it looks a hasty decision.

It's a lot more difficult for me. Anyway not that I have to explain myself to anyone! I go when it is possible for me to go.

I always take that emoji as meaning ' ergh/you're being ridiculous' sort of way. You know when someone says something stupid and you roll your eyes at them. That's how I took it. But if you didn't mean it like that then, my mistake :t:
