26.05. Tigers v Aces - league

Aces return to Owlerton looking for revenge after their home & away defeats in the Northern League Cup.  Aces stronger septet now with Zagar replacing Allen, but it must have been a long time since the Slovenian rode Owlerton.  2005 with Reading Racers I think!  Fricke's form after winning the Warsaw GP seems to have improved and who knows what the enigma that is Brady Kurtz will do.
Sheffield are solid outfit, from seeing their results but Cook's form has been a disappointment, while Musielak has been up & down on his return to these shores after a few seasons away.
The Tigers will be keen to bounce back strongly from their home defeat to Wolves last Thursday.

I think track preparation will be key. Last week track was dry and dusty and didn’t look much shale on track. I don’t think it was watered during the meeting either. It suited the gate and go wolves lads more than ours. No stock cars this week so hopefully they will prepare it more for our lads

Fancy the Aces to do a job on Sheffield tbh.

Haven't been impressed with Sheffield so far. Wolves dominated them last week and my out of form Panthers could've taken a point against them in a Heat 15 decider as well.

Didn't think they were convincing against a weakened Ipswich on Eurosport last week and Wolves would've knocked them out of the Cup completely if it wasn't for Kemp's bike failure in Heat 2. 

Belle Vue look like the real deal to me now.

9 Heat Winners and it would've been 10 when Kemp was miles ahead in Heat 2 only for his bike to go that gifted Sheffield a 5-1.

Wolves 1-5 outscoring Sheffield's 1-5 by double figures as well.

The problem was that Kemp wasn't in control of the bike, it was taking him all over the track, that contributed to his chain coming off, so you could say that was self inflicted

Think tonight's result depends on Brennan as he'll probably have 7 rides, he's gone reasonably well at Owlerton previously so could be close.
