Ffs we've just put up with 4 nights of vojens, you want another night of next to no passing?

Didn't think you'd get a nibble there Steve, in all honesty!

Should re-run the meeting from scratch at a later date. Unfair to call a winner when 3 riders sit on 8 points.

Got to cancel it  surely

My suggestion is to abandon the meeting tonight, with Brennan and Harris to race-off at Cardiff at the Friday practice.

Sadly rain is always a risk at B Vue, which may explain the size of the crowd. Was nicely poised for a great finish, they should restage it because any other result is an injustice. Harris has not raced Brennan or Bewley whereas others have faced all three (Nicholls for example). Fans want to see a full meeting.

Wouldn't be fair on the loser tbh.

Cardiff wildcard means too much to be decided on a flip of a coin.

SCB rule books says:

Quote

c)  if the tie still persists and involves more than 2 riders, it shall be checked whether there is a possibility to determine a proper precedence. As an example, if 3 riders tied on points a, b and c will be resolved as follows: -

Rider a has beaten rider b
Rider a has beaten rider c
Rider b has beaten rider c

Then the precedence would be best position for rider a then b then c

d) if a), b) or c) cannot be used the order shall be determined by a ballot

Quote

The method for deciding the hierarchy will be as per these Regulations. This system will also be used if a meeting is abandoned after the completion of heat 12, and the meeting is not re-staged, the results will stand at the last point when all riders had taken the same number of rides.

Surely you cannot award a title on lots, but I cannot see anything else in the book.

Why not re-run on Thursday or Friday before the GP. I am sure one or two tracks could accommodate the meeting. Just tell the riders to turn up or else.

Shame that the weather has intervened but do the broadcasters understand the sport and the need to get on with the racing rather than take an ad break. It is a minority sport and no one is probably interested in the ads.

Spot on, the parade should have been cancelled at the start and the first race should have started at 7.15 at the latest. Then the riders should have been put on 30 secs for each race so they didn’t bugger about for a minute at the gates but instead just got on with starting each race. So many ways a little bit of common sense and a sense of urgency from the organisers and yes the TV lot too, could have sped things up so they could have got to at least heat 20.
BUT it’s always the same, never any sense of urgency, lets drag the meeting out so more money will be spent on food and drink etc!!
