Glasgow v Redcar CL 1/7/22 @19.30

Are cook.abd Brennan contracted heat 15 at home lol. Good performance can only beat what's in front of you. Nice to see Cook, ulle and Connor leading the way. Not sure broc's EL outings have helped the confidence

Glasgow warming up nicely for the second half of the season.

Yet another poor start by the Bears away from home, and against a strong Glasgow team that’s asking for trouble.

Bears aren’t a bad team , second strings are a bit weak but the main issue is inconsistency, not many meetings where all the riders have contributed.

All three heat leaders have better averages, but no wins in 9 heats.

Ironic Redcar got 3 heat wins after the dreaded ht10 grading, which was actually after ht9 tonight.

We are looking much healthier as a team with points coming from everyone. Tonight was a learning point for Basso in ht14, he got off lightly with a straightforward looking off that could have been so much worse. Dynamite to watch him though.

Broc’s form is still a concern. The rest are all performing fairly well. It did make me wonder how this team would look if we had a return from Marcin Nowak… it’d be entertaining if nothing else!

Basso is worth the admission money himself straightforward win and good to see Cookie back.

Decent match better than score suggests

As you say it was decent it helped when we missed the gate and had to pick the Bears off.

The match was. The Bears were worse though!
