Plymouth Vs Birmingham (2/8/22)

Recommended Posts

Surely the Plymouth promotion will be handing out free pens for those with a programme as they will be writing all night. This meeting could set a new record for guests and good old R/R.

It certainly seems that Garry May beat Laurence Rogers to who got first use of the rider list Filofax in choosing his replacements. Although Birmingham are restricted with who they can get, as the riders they are replacing are on quite lower averages.

Until the B test has been confirmed you cannot presume guilt.

If that's the case he would have been allowed to race at Oxford on Wednesday! ;)

Birmingham’s Averages from 01/08/22

Josh Auty.                     7.20*
Justin Sedgemen.       7.12
Claus Vissing.              5.92*
Ash Morris.                   4.81
Stefan Nielsen.             5.07
James Shanes.             4.74*
James Pearson.            4.00

                                        38.86

* So with these 3 certainly missing who would you choose. Here’s my 3.

Leon Flint   6.72.      Paco  Castagna  4.92.    Connor Mountain  4.53

Your right, innocent until proved.  Just surprised it's took this long to catch someone out.

My guess

Nicol, Edwards and Complin (after his performance last time)

I think the Plymouth promotion are very confident, brave or stupid as on Saturday at Plymouth Argyle’s home football match versus Barnsley they had Ben Trigger and  Ben Barker promoting the speedway team and they had bikes and various stuff going on at the match . My point is come midweek Ben Barker could be banned for two years for Drug taking or he will be exonerated and be free to ride speedway again  , it’s a massive vote of confidence in Ben Barker by the promotion of the Plymouth Gladiators days before the outcome, really hope it doesn’t come back to bite them and Ben can resume racing again

Think the 8 day rule would apply to Complin? (not sure how that works ) LOL

I think we'd be better off signing him on a short term contract....see the season out in place of Shanes ?
