jrs 3,249 Posted July 11 Might be a surprise in the Championship, I quite expect Leicester and Southampton to go up, but I think the other team could be the surprise package for promotion being Hull City. I was very impressed with the way Liam Rosenior managed them last season, and having watched them play a few.times, he had really generated a real spirit in the team. Would like to see Cov make the playoffs again, but we fluffed it at the last hurdle last season. Really is a tough division to get out of, and I think Rosenior can do it for Hull. Brave of him to speak out, albeit somewhat forced by the media finding out he'd been in rehab and putting pressure on him. 2 Share this post Link to post
Pinny 2,511 Posted July 13 Hoping Utd get Onana. Outstanding keeper and have thought so for a number of years now since his Ajax days. De Gea was a great servant but last couple of years has looked ropey to say the least. 1 Share this post Link to post
iris123 20,273 Posted July 14 Saw the 2nd half of Nürnberg v Arsenal . Balogun missed a sitter, so will probably be moved on then be a sensation. Hardly noticed Havertz Share this post Link to post
screm 7,952 Posted July 15 Season ticket is renewed for NUFC, with my first game is this coming Tuesday. The squad is a bit thin on the ground in terms of quality but there`s still plenty time to do something about that. 1 Share this post Link to post

So much to look forward to for the new season. First pre-season game today, a 2-3 away win at Gateshead, now onto Rangers on Tuesday for the Alan McGregor testimonial game, should be a good night with a sell out crowd of around 50000. Newcastle have sold their allocation of 8000. 2 Share this post Link to post
