Just want to apologise for putting four past you lot today, but it's nice to be in a playoff spot... I live in Swinedown but don't support them. Being a souf Londoner good to see Dons win. Have rellies who live in Epsom and are season ticket holders there. I followed the speedway team in the 60s, Nygren, Hedge, Luckhurst, Cowland, and was a regular at Ighbury, The Valley, and then the County Ground. Just non-league viewing for me now, and tv viewing for the Arsenal. Share this post Link to post
The Cheese 2,008 Posted 19 hours ago Quote Caldwell says he will know if it is time to quit, but that time is not now: "I'm the first one that if I sense any negativity from the players towards how we're trying to play, the fans don't need to sing for me to go. I'll know if I've lost the dressing room or if the club is not going in the right direction - I'll be the first one to go and speak to the board. Last 13 league games: W1, D2, L10. Goals scored 4, conceded 28. How much longer do you need ffs? You've basically destroyed the club in a year. Exciting team - gone. Connection between club and fans - gone, maybe even to the extent that it's irreparable. Academy products filling more than half of the side regularly - now lucky to have more than 1 in the matchday squad. And the worst thing is there's no end in sight. He won't be sacked, why would he quit? It's just a long and painful road to relegation without putting up a fight. Share this post Link to post

I only managed one visit to the old, and at that time rather delapidated ground Think it was a Boxing day game v Tooting and Mitcham. Share this post Link to post

Saw Dulwich at Hungerford and Chippenham last season, lost both. The fans still sing "We hate Tooting and Mitcham". Great as a kid in 60s London visiting different grounds for football, speedway, cricket. Nice new ground at Champion Hill, regularly full with over 3000. I follow them because my grandparents lived in South Wimbledon. My dad supported the old team as a kid, and I just followed him. My grandad was actually groundsman at the old Plough Lane, and when the famous FA Cup replay against Leeds was switched to Selhurst because of the weather, he had his photo in the papers! My parents met at Wimbledon speedway in 1958, and both of them played for the WSSC darts team, so that's how I got into those sports too... Share this post Link to post

To use a cliche lets hope the form book goes out of the window next weekend as the gulf this season is quite clear by looking at the table. Fourteen and a half years does mean a bit of pressure on the favourites though Share this post Link to post
