    berwick bandits 2019

Howay min robin ya patter is as fascinating as an out of date Tesco cauliflower
  3. Maybe Gary is going soft - he used to be pretty ruthless but Rory is taking the pee out of him and Somerset with his away performances.

God it must have been awful
  5. Just finished watching it , I'd say the meeting at Berwick was more entertaining

I’m not one for criticising if I can avoid it but seriously... Rory Schlein... so disappointing to see his attitude... clear as day before the meeting that he wasn’t interested and it certainly showed! What sort of captain displays that attitude... even Henry Atkins and Anders Rowe rode with 10x more heart then he did. Good display from Berwick but tougher teams to come to us still!

Yes, if it's wet, He just goes through the motions.
  10. Well, reading the Star it seems like the meeting was a success. Close racing, bikes were safer and only a fraction slower than the GM's. Introducing the engines would reduce costs and improve the product but the riders won't buy into it because it would make the kit they've invested in so heavily worthless so a bit of a catch 22 situation unfortunately.
  11. Is The Roo Boy on a guarantee ?
  12. Can’t be long till Garry comes on and says the track was the problem ,wonder how much Rory earned tonight.Bet The was an expensive 3 points for Somerset Promotion
  13. unless they hit a low bridge
  14. Just think he’s passing his stinking attitude onto the young riders when he does the training days.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmarmalade
  16. Not the point, 100 lines if you do it again.
  17. Not so, it is now definitely off for tonight, since the Danes refused to ride. The Poles wanted to get the meeting done with tonight, and run at least 12 heats to get a result. The French and the Swedes were willing to ride, but not so the Danes. The organisers won't be able to re-run tomorrow, which leaves the outcome of this event in doubt.
  18. Not a classic by any means, the heavy rain this afternoon put paid to that. The track actually looked like a throwback to the Peter Waite days for the first few heats. Attitude was the difference between the two teams tonight. The visiting number one obviously didn't fancy it and cost his team the chance of a point IMO. Ben Barker as always was value for money. Nico Covatti unlucky to have a recurrence of an old injury. Cracking win for Berwick though and good to see NBJ, Jye and Dany in the points again. Spud obviously still feeling the effects of last week, but Coty looking more confident. Two good wins in the past two weeks over two much more fancied sides than the Bandits. Just like to say as well how good it is as well to see the riders in the crowd afterwards and the number of kids wanting photos taken, giving riders high fives. Those kids go away with memories, tell their friends, it's all great PR.

Apparently it wasn’t much better than the crap we had to endure tonight
  20. i thought it was another sticky substance , looks like i was wrong again ! mmmmmm ..
  21. Yes carrot cake is good. Also like coffee cake but don't like coffee!
  22. Oh dear...It all sounds like a bit of a shambles. Have the French been getting lessons in organising speedway meetings from us Brits?
  23. KP Dry Roasted for me lol, talking of cake Carrot is nice.
  24. And some people want to see him in the GP's again next season!! He was embarrassing enough in his last two or three goes a few years ago, so can you imagine what he'd be like now! Reckon Poland will win this tomorrow now, when they actually use their best riders as there's no way that Dudek will not be riding. Was utterly ridiculous in the first place that he wasn't but after that effort from Magic tonight, even if he's not injured, there's no way he will be picked again on Sunday.
  25. Special mention should go to Ben Barker who put in a excellent performance tonight well worth his guest booking and certainly a lot better than the Rebels captain who was embarrassing . Also a big thank you to the Old Coffin Dogeron the centre green for ruining the SON for me by announcing the results before I'd had a chance to watch it
